The SDCP, will be the first sustainable and energy-efficient Tier 4 data centre hub in Sarawak. This project is designed to meet the growing demand for advanced data storage and processing capabilities in the region, setting a new standard for data centre operations in Malaysia.

“This agreement with Netrunner reflects Sarawak Energy’s commitment to powering Sarawak’s growing digital infrastructure needs with reliable, renewable energy. As we work towards becoming a digital utility by 2025, collaborations like this align with our vision of building a sustainable energy future while supporting Sarawak’s aspiration to becoming a leader in the digital economy,” said Datuk Haji Sharbini Suhaili.

“The establishment of this Tier 4 data centre hub will enhance Sarawak's reputation as a forward- thinking, digitally advanced region. This project encapsulates a vision where the growth of digital infrastructure harmoniously coexists with environmental stewardship and social responsibility, paving the way for a more sustainable future in Sarawak,” said Netrunner director Ronnie Lim Hai Liang.

As a Tier 4 data centre facility, the SDCP will offer high reliability, with fault tolerance and redundancy in all critical systems to ensure consistent operations and data security.
