Confirmation Of Employee’s Passing In Bintangor, Sarikei Incident

Sarawak Energy confirms the passing of an employee in Bintangor, Sarikei on the afternoon of Sunday, 7 May 2023. The passing of the employee was certified by medical officers at 4.59 pm on the same day.
Sarawak Energy is deeply saddened by this tragic incident and conveys its heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the late employee.
Out of respect for the family and loved ones of the departed, Sarawak Energy asks that members of the public avoid speculating on the cause of death and to refrain from spreading unconfirmed news.
The incident is currently under investigation and Sarawak Energy is extending its full cooperation to the authorities.
