Sarawak Energy Announces Winners of Q1 2022 E-Bill Lucky Draw Campaign

KUCHING
19 MAY 2022

Sarawak Energy’s ‘Go Paperless’ e-Bill Campaign was launched in 2021 to promote e-bills to customers. This method of billing provides a convenient way for subscribers to access, pay and store their electricity bills without the paper clutter at their homes.

Going paperless on bill service is part of the utility’s ‘Go Paperless’ initiative and the move also supports Sarawak Energy’s aspiration to become a digital utility by 2025.

Various initiatives have been introduced to encourage customers to subscribe to electronic bills, reducing the usage of paper and reliance on monthly bill delivery. One of the initiatives is a lucky draw held quarterly with a selection of 250 lucky winners. Recently, the draw for Quarter 1 (Q1) of the year 2022 has been made. Each winner will receive an RM50 electricity bill cash rebate each, credited to their registered electricity contract account and be notified via their e-Bill subscription registered e-mail address. The list of winners is also available on Sarawak Energy’s website: https://www.sarawakenergy.com/media-info/announcements-publications/announcements-lucky-draw-winners-announcement.

To date, 120,000 customers have subscribed to the e-Bill service. Rewards for subscribers include a RM2 rebate on the monthly electricity bills for a period of 12 months upon successful registration.

Subscribers were also automatically entered into quarterly lucky draws with 250 winners receiving RM50 electricity bill cash rebates each quarter. Previous winners will still be eligible to participate in the next round, as long as they remain subscribed to the e-Bill service and fulfil other eligibility conditions.

To subscribe to Sarawak Energy’s e-Bill service, customers may perform self-registration via the ‘SEB cares’ mobile application (available in App Store and Google Play) or fill in the registration form via www.sarawakenergy.com.
