KUCHING, 4 OCTOBER 2019, Friday: Sarawak Energy’s customers will be treated to APP-preciation Day 2019 this weekend on 5 to 6 October as part of its ongoing customer experience enhancement programme.

The event will be held this Saturday, from 10am to 9pm and Sunday, 10am to 7pm at Vivacity Megamall.

Following the upbeat responses on SEB cares mobile app during APP-preciation Day 2017, the event will continue to promote the usage of the mobile app as well as to introduce the Smart Meter Project Phase II to residents of Tabuan Jaya Baru, Tabuan Laru and Jalan Kempas.

With the convenience of SEB cares, customers gain 24-7 access to services such as billing and metering matters, receiving real-time alerts on power outages and planned shutdowns as well as locating the nearest customer service counters. They can submit timely reports on electrical faults or incidents including faulty street lights or slanting electricity poles.

Visitors will also be informed on the smart meter installation and implementation processes. Homeowners with installed smart meters will be able to receive prompt and accurate electricity bills through real-time meter readings. Customers can easily monitor their electricity consumption pattern for energy efficiency planning purposes.

Other than SEB cares and smart meters, the event will educate the public on other retail services like managing bills, making e-payment and enquiring about technical services via customer care centre hotline.

Interactive games and attractive prizes worth RM30,000

Featuring fun and interactive games like an electronic maze and Kahoot quizzes, the event offers attractive prizes worth up to RM30,000 to lucky winners. Other crowd-pulling activities for children include a mini playground and colouring contest for children aged 7 to 12 years old.

Admission is free and members of the public, especially those from areas of Tabuan Jaya Baru, Tabuan Laru and Jalan Kempas, are invited to attend.
