KUCHING, 3 OCTOBER 2019, THURSDAY: Sarawak Energy provided relief aid to 105 residents of Rh Budin longhouse at Bukut in Balingian whose homes were destroyed in a fire recently.

Sarawak Energy and subsidiaries Balingian Power Generation and Balingian Energy Minerals set up temporary makeshift tents to house some of the belongings which the residents managed to salvage from the fire as well as items that were donated.

The team also delivered plywood, mattresses, blankets, pillows, cooking utensils and food items. Uniforms, shoes and school items were also provided to the children who are studying at SK Sungai Duan.

Contractors for Balingian Power Generation, Shanghai Electric and Hock Peng also rendered support to the fire victims by providing food supplies and boxes of mineral water.
