KUCHING, 12 FEBRUARY 2018, MONDAY: Sarawak Energy paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Resident of Sibu Division, Charles Siaw at the latter’s office recently.

Led by Azahari Aliman, Sarawak Energy Head of Government Relations, Event Management and Protocol and Peridah Samawi, Regional Manager for Central Region, the team gave Siaw an overview of the supply network system for Sibu and updates of ongoing and upcoming projects being done to enhance the system’s reliability.

The team also took the opportunity to inform the Resident on cable and copper theft affecting Sarawak Energy facilities which often result in power interruptions. The Resident was also briefed on electrical safety awareness initiatives among the public.
