KUCHING, 9TH NOVEMBER 2017, THURSDAY: Tripping of the 275kV transmission lines to Mambong substation occurred at 11:08hrs this morning, interrupting electricity supply to parts of Kuching.

Supply was restored to some affected areas within minutes with full restoration by 11:33hrs.

Sarawak Energy apologises for the inconvenience caused to all affected customers, and is investigating the cause of the tripping incident.
