Sarawak Energy Bapa Angkat For Sarawak Contingent At Sukma XVIII
KUCHING, 5th JULY 2016, TUESDAY: As Sarawak's appointed Bapa Angkat for the upcoming 18th SUKMA, Sarawak Energy is providing volunteers and logistics support to the state contingent.
The pool of volunteers will assist Sarawak's teams by providing support in communication between the team, the contingent, technical officials and SUKMA’s secretariat as well as assist in the coordination for transport, accommodation, welfare and security of the athletes. The company is also providing additional transport support.
Dr Ong Kong Swee, Pengarah, Majlis Sukan Negeri (MSN) Sarawak accompanied by Daud Aba, Ketua Bahagian Perkhidmatan Korporat, MSN, paid a courtesy call on Aisah Eden, Sarawak Energy Executive Vice President for Corporate Services, to discuss and finalise Sarawak Energy's support recently. Also present were Peing Tajang, Sarawak Energy head of Corporate Communications and Abdul Baderi Sahmat, manager of Policy and Government Relations.
Aisah said, “Sarawak Energy is honoured to have been appointed Bapa Angkat for Sarawak. We are pleased to provide the assistance requested by the Sarawak contingent and be able to play a role in the smooth running of this upcoming SUKMA. Our best wishes go to the Sarawak team, for every event. ”
