DM Sri Tabuan Emerges Champion at Sarawak Energy Cup 2016
KUCHING, 1st OCTOBER 2016, SATURDAY: DM Sri Tabuan earned a three-match victory over G Builders in the finals of Sarawak Energy Cup 2016 badminton tournament, held last Sunday, 25th September 2016 at the Sentosa Sports Centre, Kuching. The tournament which started on 19 September 2016 was organised by Sarawak Energy’s Sports Club and supported by Sarawak Badminton Association (SBA).
Thirteen teams took part in the tournament which also attracted famous shuttlers such as the 2003 All England champion, Hafiz Hashim and former national shuttler Zakry Latif.
Present to handover the prizes to the winners were Sarawak Energy’s Executive Vice President for Corporate Planning and Strategy Development Ting Ching Zung who is also the tournament’s organising chairman, General Manager for Corporate Risk & Health, Safety and Environment, Marconi Madai and co-organising chairman, Executive Vice President (SEB Power) James Ung.
