CM Meet And Greet Session At Menara Sarawak Energy

KUCHING, 22nd APRIL 2016, FRIDAY:  About 1,500 Sarawak Energy’s staff and guests stationed in Kuching had the opportunity to listen to Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem in person when Menara Sarawak Energy was chosen as the venue for a Meet & Greet session with the premier today.

The charismatic leader serenaded the crowd by singing some of his favourite numbers before he delivered a message calling for ‘unity in diversity’ as he urged all Sarawakians to advance the shared vision for a sustainable development of the state by working together as one.

Emphasising that Sarawak’s way forward was to have a developed economy that was inclusive with opportunities for all, he expressed his confidence the people could continue this momentum together.

Adenan also acknowledged the contributions made by Sarawak Energy’s staff in ensuring Sarawakians enjoyed the lowest tariffs in Malaysia and encouraged them to continue in their quest for operational excellence and their mission to become a regional powerhouse.

“Sarawak Energy is the only state-run electricity company in Malaysia and it is run successfully,” he said.

Also present were Sarawak Energy Chairman, Datuk Amar Abdul Hamed Sepawi, Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Torstein Dale Sjotveit, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of SESCO Lu Yew Hung, Sarawak Energy's management team and the company's business partners.
