We wish to inform that a circuit breaker at Lambir 33KV substation tripped at 11am this morning, causing a power outage along the old Miri-Bintulu road. 

Given the extent of the fault, power could not be restored immediately and our technical team had to work on shifting the main cable to another circuit breaker at 3.30pm. This process will take about 4 hours. 

Rest assured that Sarawak Energy is doing all we can to resolve the problem in the shortest time possible. 

Sarawak Energy’s technical team have transferred part of the load to restore power to some places in the affected area.

Power supply is expected to be restored before 9pm.
