Kuching, 26 November 2012, 6.30pm - Sarawak Energy Berhad is pleased to advise that the rotational load shedding that began at 1.30PM today ended at 4.59PM. The situation has been normalised, with full restoration achieved. Bakun Unit 8 was energized back to the State’s electricity grid at 5.00PM this evening.

Once again, Sarawak Energy apologizes for the inconvenience caused to our customers. We are working closely with Sarawak Hidro Sdn Bhd - which owns and operates Bakun to investigate the cause of the trip.
