Sarawak Energy is extending the electricity discounts under the “Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang 9.0” as announced by the Sarawak Government recently, effective from July to December 2022.

Under Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang 9.0, about 685,000 customers from domestic, commercial and industrial sectors will continue to receive a 5 to 25 percent discount on their electricity bills until 31 December 2022.

Sarawak Energy has a dedicated task force working round the clock to normalise bills to ensure that every customer from the eligible categories receive their discounts accordingly.

The discounts will be reflected in the bills as below:

• The discounts for consumption from 1 July to 31 August 2022 will be reflected in October 2022 bill.
• The discount for consumption from 1 to 30 September 2022 will be reflected in September 2022 bill.
