Competency, Authorisation and Certification

Sarawak Energy applies the Competency, Authorisation, and Certification (CAC) framework to manage matters pertaining to company technical competency requirements, including assessment of individuals' competence and the issuance of Certificates of Competency. This framework administered by the Competency and Authorization Committee, enables individuals to perform designated operations and/or operates the company's equipment.

The certificate issued to an individual shall indicate the class of work, specific equipment and area of operation to which his/her competence applies.

REGISTER OR RENEW AS AN INTERNAL WIRING CONTRACTOR 

Contractors who wish to renew or register as one of our internal wiring contractors are required to do so at our online registration portal, eCustomer Experience (eCX).

Below are the registration steps:

  1. Log on to our eCX application here.
  2. At the landing page, click ‘I Want To Register’ link and choose ‘Contractor’ button.
  3. Please ensure that all entered details are valid and complete for our approval.
  4. Your registered Email Address will be used as your User ID every time you log in to eCX.
  5. Once approved, you may view and renew your registration online to stay as our active contractor.
